Visualize Your Voice and SPARK Fiber Art at CPMA Middle School

This camp is open to all students currently enrolled in 7th or 8th grade at a San Diego Unified School District school. A valid student ID number is required for final enrollment.
About this Camp:
This is a 2-part sampler course where each day, students will get to try out a variety of new art forms!
Part 1: Visualize Your Voice- (Graphic Design) Unleash your creativity and dive into the exciting world of design! This interactive camp will cover some of the fundamentals of graphic design, as well as exploring how design influences the world around you, and how you can use it to express your ideas and make an impact. Create your own monogram, poster or logo! No prior experience necessary - just bring your imagination and a desire to create.
Part 2: SPARK Fiber Art-
This is an innovative fiber-based art class- think yarn crafting, sewing, and more! The basis of SPARK is engaging students in collaborative artistic practice. Instead of creating individual artwork, students will work with the artist partner to create a large-scale artwork that engages them in collaborative work and goal setting. Students are involved at every step of the process from ideation to creation to installation!
